Sunday School

The Bible classes at North Central are integrated, meaning that both parents and children learn together. A variety of resources are used in our teaching methods to ensure that every one is able to follow along in the lessons. We then encourage families to take the material taught on Sunday to use throughout the week for the Biblical instruction of their children. Strong families make for strong churches, and one major component is sound teaching!

Patch the Pirate Club

“Suffer little children, and forbid them not to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” – Matthew 19:14

Patch Club is a dynamic children’s choir program, based on the Bible and godly character-building music. The club provides opportunities for elementary aged-children, grades 1-6, to grow spiritually while developing musically. The class is guided by weekly Bible Impact lessons, sailor devotions, Scripture memory, Bible activities, music lessons, character stories, missionary stories, and songs that teach godly character truths. The PeeWee Club is for children ages 3-6 with simplified songs, verses, stories, and activities. Patch and PeeWee clubs are scheduled to go through the school year. 

Teen Ministries

“O God, thou hast taught me from my youth: and hitherto have I declared thy wondrous works.” – Psalm 71:17

The teen ministry serves to assist those in middle school and high school in developing convictions, faith, integrity, and consistency. Each week, our teens are given the opportunity to gather in a small-group setting with others their age to hear solid lessons from the Bible, engage in group discussion, and participate in activities that foster godly relationships. 

Adult Ministries

Ephesians 4:14-15 – “That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; but speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ”

All of our ministries for adults revolve around the preaching and teaching of God’s Word. Each week, there are multiple opportunities for you to participate in which will facilitate growth and understanding in the Bible. Our goal is to make the Scriptures clear to you, so that you can live out your faith in a practical, powerful way.

Missions

Jesus said in Matthew 28:19, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

North Central believes in supporting the work of both stateside and foreign missions. We accomplish this in two ways: practically and financially. Practically, we engage in door-to-door evangelism and community-wide saturation. Financially, we participate in Faith Promise Missions Giving. Taking the Gospel across the street and around the world is a priority in our church.
